Credit Union School Quiz 2025
20 March, 2025A memorable evening at our Annual Schools Quiz which took place on Friday 7th February
.
.We were delighted to welcome a full complement of 31 teams from our Common Bond.
The preparations by both the children and their teachers was very much evident on the night with all teams performing brilliantly.
In the Junior Quiz, after 10 rounds, the winners emerged as Scoil Mhuire Clontibret closely followed by Gaelscoil Ultain in second place and St Mary’s Boys NS in third place.
The Senior competition was also a close affair and after 12 rounds the winners emerged as Gaelscoil Ultain with St Marys Boys NS coming in a close second and St Dympna’s Tydavnet in third place.
A sincere thanks to all the children who took part and to their parents and families who came to support. A big thank you to the teachers who prepared the children so well and were present to support their teams . 
We would also like to extend our thanks to our Quizmaster, Dermot Coyle, Chairperson of Monaghan Credit Union, Mary Carroll, Secretary of Monaghan Credit Union and our staff for making the evening possible.
